The stand-alone Fire at Ventura 7.13.85 is pretty sweet too. The band played it as the hills burned.

Hmmmm... Best ever?

9-20-1991 Boston Garden...

Help > Slip > Fire

Simply because it was the show I had on tape, and listened to first, when I first heard of Jerry's passing... I was overseas in the Peace Corps at the time.

The cheer when Fire begins, is priceless to me...

4-23-77 has perhaps the best solo by Jerry I've ever heard.

Oh man, this is my favorite Dead song.

02/05/78 made me a Deadhead...
10/30/84 sealed the deal
12/31/78 kept me goin
06/25/91 Opened up a whole new feel to the song.
09/16/78 is also a priceless version, as stated above.

Haven't found any really amazing ones out there yet besides those...but there are definitely some more great ones.

I love the 7-13-85 funky 1st set version with an actual brush fire happening on the Ventura mountains visible from the show.

Also have to mention the Fire at the pyramids with the Ollin Aragged Jam leading into it.

I'd like to throw in 2-5-78 and 2-26-77, although it is rumored that this one is filler and not from the 2-26 show.
